It is no surprise that many people have experienced a fear of driving at some point.  Especially in this day and age where in many places the roads are in gridlock, and when there are so many aggressive drivers charging around like they own the road.

So it is understandable if you are experiencing this fear. However, through hypnotherapy and NLP I can help you to overcome this fear so that you can become a calm and confident driver.

The good news is that you are not born with such fears and phobias.  They are formed as a learned response from previous negative or traumatic experiences.  For example, you may have been in a road accident, or been a witness of an accident, or perhaps it began after an incident where you felt pressured by another aggressive driver.

If you are experiencing others forms of stress at the time of driving, then even seemingly minor driving pressures have the potential to produce an anxiety or panic attack.  The unconscious will then recall this when you are in similar situations, which could initiate a driving phobia.

The fear of driving can be really limiting for your life.  It can manifest itself in many ways, depending on the individual.  You may be comfortable driving locally but frightened to venture out any further.  You may by quite confident driving through the day but frightened to drive at night.  It may be that you are frightened to drive on motorways, or in cities or overtaking other cars.  The combinations are endless as you are a unique individual, but the good news is that with the help of hypnosis and NLP I will be able to help you overcome the fear.

As with other fears and phobias that are stored in the unconscious part of the mind, using hypnosis and NLP can access this area where you can replace this negative behaviour pattern with a positive pattern.  This means that in the future you will be more relaxed when you drive, whilst maintaining focus and control.
